Iran

In October 2016, I explored Iran with Nate of Yomadic. Why? Iran was constantly in the news especially with the Tehran nuclear deal. Knowing that a government doesn't necessarily represent its people, I wanted to see the country for myself. So with that thought in mind, I paid up and had a trip of a lifetime.

For what it's worth, I had just received my Fuji X-T2, a substantial upgrade from my previous Canon T2i. While I had been shooting since 2012, this Iran trip represented the starting point of what I considered my next phase in photography, where the technical capabilities of my camera did not hinder my vision and kickstarted my love for travel.
